MANILA - "Pinoy Big Brother" winner Myrtle Sarrosa was launched as an FHM babe during the men's magazine Halloween party held at Raven in Bonifacio Global City on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old cosplayer took the runway with one of her most daring costumes yet, this time as superheroine Starfire from DC Comics.
Wearing the two-piece, purple battle gear identified with the character, Sarrosa personally unveiled the November 2014 cover of FHM Philippines, where she is featured.
Asked how she reacted to the offer to pose for the magazine, Sarrosa said: "For me kasi, when FHM invites you para mag-cover sa kanila, they're saying na, 'You're sexy enough for a cover.'"
"So, parang, I was really flattered, really honored that they invited me. At the same, kinabahan! Kinabahan ako kasi I had to reach that certain standard," she added.
Sarrosa, who won the fourth teen edition of "PBB" in 2012, has made a name for herself in the local cosplay community for her colorful and meticulously designed costumes, and for promoting the performance art to a wider audience.
A contract artist of Star Magic, Sarrosa has appeared in a number of ABS-CBN programs, including "Kahit Puso'y Masugatan" and "Moon of Desire." She was also seen the drama film "Once A Princess" early this year.
