It was already an emotional night both for GOT7 and the fans: the boys ending their world tour for 2019 and Pinoy ahgases finally getting to watch the group after waiting for three years.

But at the end of the Manila leg of “Keep Spinning World Tour”, tears flowed as the packed Mall of Asia Arena watched a surprise video prepared by fans.

In the video, fans recalled GOT7’s first visit to the Philippines in 2016 an the boys’ promise to return soon.

“Three long years have passed, 9 albums, 2 units, 2 concert tours, and we still kept on waiting,” the message in the video said.

“We may not be the first, maybe the second or third on your list, but we want you to know you will always have a home with us. Even in the darkest sky, we will stay and fly with you forever. Mahal namin kayo.”

As the video ended, everyone raised their lightsticks and phone’s flashlight as members and fans sang together one of the group’s hits “Let Me.”

Amid loud cheers, GOT7 members were visibly moved, especially Mark who could not hide his tears.

To this, Filipino fans chanted “don’t cry”, “it’s okay”, and “we love you” in Korean.

“We’re sorry that it took us 3 years to come back… We’re not sure if it’ll take another 3 years, 2 years or 1 year but we will come back,” Mark said.

Meanwhile, Bambam said it was one of the most touching videos he had watched.

“We know you’ve guys waited so long… It was 2016 and now it’s almost 2020. We want to say sorry that you guys waited too long. But at least we’re already with you guys tonight. No need to feel sad anymore… You don’t have to fly to another country to see us.”

More treats for fans came from Youngjae and Jinyoung as they delivered their message in Tagalog.

“Magkita tayo ulit sa susunod. Mahal ko kayo,” Youngjae said.

“Babalik kami. Mahal namin kayo,” Jinyoung said.

As fans clamor for more songs from the boys, they chanted “walang uuwi… walang uuwi” (no one will go home).

Confused, GOT7 asked fans in front to translate for them. After learning the meaning of the words, members chanted along with Pinoy ahgases.

Instantly, #WalangUuwi became one of the top trending topics on local Twitter along with the event’s official hashtag, #GOT7KeepSpinningInManila.

“Youngjae” was also one of the trending topics as he was the last to leave the stage after taking time to go around waving to the fans.

GOT7 is set to release their new album “Call My Name” on November 4.
