MANILA — Twelve-year-old Vanjoss Bayaban will be representing the team of Sarah Geronimo in the grand finals of "The Voice Kids" next week.
Geronimo picked Bayaban over the two other remaining members of her team, Yshara Cepeda and Angel Andal, on Sunday's episode of the singing contest.
Bayaban performed Sugarfree's "Makita Kang Muli," charming the coaches with his simple yet impressive performance.
"Impressive kang mang-aawit, pero this is the first time na pinaiyak mo ako," Geronimo told Bayaban.
Bayaban securing a spot in the grand finals means Cepeda, who performed "Wind Beneath My Wings" and Andal, who performed "Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-ibig" have both been eliminated from the competition.
Bayaban will be competing with Cyd Pangca of Team Lea and Carmelle Collado of Kamp Kawayan.
