For Maja Salvador, it would just be too awkward.
The actress explained that a romantic relationship between her and Zanjoe Marudo would not work out simply because of their exes.
While she stopped herself from dropping names, it was clear that she was referring to their former partners, Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo --who are now together as a couple-- respectively.
"Let's be honest. Siyempre sa ibang tao, 'ang weird naman --nagpalitan?" she told "Tonight With Boy Abunda" this Friday.
She did admit that she feels a "spark" between her and Marudo but found it difficult to explain further the reason holding her back.
"Aaminin ko, kung hindi nangyari, kung nauna ka lang kay ano, okay!" she teased, before adding: "Ramdam ko na may spark pero may something na --ang weird eh."
Salvador and Marudo were on the late night talk show to promote their new movie, "To Love Some Buddy," about best friends who decided to risk their relationship and give romance a shot.
It is written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, and is the second offering from Black Sheep, the production outfit under ABS-CBN Films that produced the box-office hit, "Exes Baggage."
