MANILA -- The friendship of actors Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano started way back in when they met as young boys on the defunct variety show "Vilma!" of Manzano's mother Vilma Santos.
Crawford recalled on "Gandang Gabi Vice" on Sunday how he met Manzano, who back then was known as Lucky.
"Nakilala ko si Luis noong nasa 'Vilma!' show pa ako. Lucky pa ang tawag sa kanya," he said, noting that Manzano was holding two mini samurai swords when they were introduced to each other.
After their first meeting, Crawford flew to another country and later came back in the Philippines all grown up.
He said he met Manzano the second time around on "ASAP."
Crawford recalled.
Since then, Manzano said their friendship developed, especially when they were paired as hosts of the show "Pilipinas Got Talent."
