MANILA—When K-pop boy group GOT7 announced in May that Manila will be part of its "Keep Spinning" world tour, Filipino "ahgases" — their fandom name — were left counting down the days.
But now, with the group arriving in the country Friday, its local supporters are surely glued to their watches and clocks, as they are just mere hours away from seeing the boys live again when they take the stage of the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.
This is the third time the group — a multi-awarded act who has topped US Billboard charts — has visited the Philippines.
The first time was in 2015 for a fan meet. They returned a year later for their "Flight Log: Turbulence" tour.
The "Keep Spinning" tour is in support of their comeback album last May "Spinning Top." It included their song, "Eclipse."
GOT7 is composed of 7 members — JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom.
