MANILA -- Four years after their last project together, former couple Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu are reuniting in the upcoming primetime series "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin," Dreamscape announced on Monday.
Although they are both part of the Sunday noontime show "ASAP," the two former "Pinoy Big Brother" teen housemates were last featured as a love team in the 2012 romantic comedy movie "24/7 in Love."
According to Dreamscape, "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" will revolve around three triathletes who come from different walks of life. The sport, its creators noted, serves as a metaphor for the challenges in one's life.
No other details about the story was revealed as they are currently still on the pre-production and planning stage.
Apart from Anderson and Chiu, the series will also be starring Coleen Garcia, Jake Cuenca, and Helen Gamboa.
Ayen Munji-Laurel and Bing Loyzaga are also part of the cast of the series, which will be directed by Dan Villegas.
Dreamscape also has yet to announce the premiere date of the series.
Meanwhile, here are some of the reactions from fans who got excited with Anderson and Chiu's reunion project.
