Maasinhon Trio named 'Pilipinas Got Talent' 3rd grand winner

MANILA, Philippines – Southern Leyte’s the Maasinhon Trio was named "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" grand winner on Sunday.

The 3 singers took home P2 million.

The trio wowed judges Ai-Ai delas Alas, Kris Aquino and Freddie M. Garcia and the crowd with their version of Basil Valdez’s “Nais Ko” on Saturday’s final performance.

Khalil Joseph Ramos

Bringas brothers of Davao del Sur and Parañaque City’s Khalil Joseph Ramos were given P100,000.

The other finalists each received P50,000.

A number of artists joined the 12 talented finalists onstage during the PGT Results Night.

Christian Bautista, Jed Madela, and Nina performed with the season’s best singers.

PGT hosts Billy Joe Crawford and Luis Manzano joined in on the act and showed off their dancing skills.

“Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano and son Paolo took the stage with the finalists and electrified the crowd at the Ynares Sports Complex in Antipolo City with their rendition of “Come Together.”

Rock band Kamikazee performed their hit song “Narda.”

Marcelito Pomoy, meanwhile, also took to the stage and showed why he was voted as grand winner of “PGT Season 2.”

The 12 Filipino finalists gave their all during the grand showdown of "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" on Saturday night.

Five finalists from Luzon made it to the finals. Visayas and Mindanao have four and three finalists, respectively.

Past winners include singers Pomoy and Jovit Baldivino (Season 1).
