MANILA - Young actress Liza Soberano's red carpet looks never fails to deliver. And this year proved to be no different as she took home the coveted Best Dressed Award at the 10th Star Magic Ball after dazzling the red carpet with a patterned, floor-length turquoise blue gown she co-designed with Michael Cinco.
Admittedly nervous before making her red carpet appearance Saturday evening, the 18-year-old Soberano had no trouble in ensuing that all eyes were on her in the gown, which featured a long, plunging illusion neckline down the middle.
Her male counterpart is Zanjoe Marudo, who looked dapper in a Lanvin tuxedo.
Meanwhile, Sofia Andres and Diego Loyzaga were named Couple of the Night, an award previously won by the likes of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, and John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban.
The "Stars of the Night" awards were given to ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos and ABS-CBN chair Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III.
