It's been more than a year since they got back together.
But Zsa Zsa Padilla still remembers in minute detail the moment she knew she still loved her fiancé, architect Conrad Onglao.
The actress shared on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Friday her chance meeting with Onglao at a mall, which led to them sorting out their differences and rekindling their romance.
"It was so hard for me kasi I haven't spoken to him in months," she recalled, adding that she first tried to avoid him.
"But then we talked in front of a restaurant until we sat down and ordered water. I was crying kasi kumbaga ang daming issues na lumabas. Then slowly, he started to text me again.
"And then I [found] that he's in my consciousness again and I couldn't sleep. And slowly ...I started to entertain his messages again."
It was back in early 2016 when Padilla and Onglao first called off their engagement.
Padilla said that she and Onglao have yet to decide on a wedding date, saying that she doesn't want to jinx their relationship.
Padilla was on the late-night talk show to promote her role in "Wildflower" as the show's villain named "Red Dragon," the mother of Emilia (Aiko Melendez) who vows to get revenge on Lily Cruz (Maja Salvador) for what she did to her daughter.
