'No Other Woman' now highest grossing Filipino movie

MANILA, Philippines – "No Other Woman" is now the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time, according to Star Cinema.

ABS-CBN's movie outfit said the film earned almost P220 million in ticket sales during its third week of showing.

"You Changed My Life," a 2009 film starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, previously held the top spot with P209 million.

Topbilled by Anne Curtis, Cristine Reyes and Derek Ramsay, "No Other Woman" is about an extra-marital affair and the complications it brings.

It tells the story of Ram Escaler (Ramsay), a furniture salesman married to Charmaine (Reyes) who had an affair with resort heiress Kara Zalderiaga (Curtis).

The film, directed by Ruel Bayani, earned at least P15 million in ticket sales during its premiere last September 28.
