While there's a sense that plastic surgery is no longer taboo in the country, there are still very few celebrities who are comfortable in openly owning up to going under the knife. 

That's why it feels refreshing to have someone like Xander Ford not only admit it, but unveil his new look in such a grand manner. With that in mind, here are the other celebrities who have no qualms in sharing that they had something done to improve their overall appearance.

Vice Ganda

No stranger to being real, the "It's Showtime" host said he had his hips enhanced so he can wear more revealing outfits in his shows. "Wala naman yatang maniniwala kapag sinabi kong totoo ang balakang ko, talaga namang gawa," he said.

Jake Zyrus

After coming out as a transgender man, Jake Zyrus, formerly Charice, revealed that he underwent breast removal surgery, a decision which, he said in an inteview, made him feel that his transition was "complete."

Rufa Mae Quinto

In an interview back in 2014, the sexy comedienne openly talked about her breast implants and having it removed because her left breast had been hurting for a year.

Angeline Quinto

Four years ago, the singer shared that undergoing various cosmetic procedures served as a much-needed confidence booster for her. She said she had double eyelid surgery and liposuction on her arms and back.

Lani Misalucha

The "Asia's Nightingale" readily admitted to having her teeth, nose, and chin done, saying that she wants to look more confident in front of the camera. "Who doesn't want to look good?" she asked.

Christopher de Leon

The 60-year-old actor looks great as ever, but he did admit to getting a little help from cosmetic enhancements to maintain his youthful look. In 2011, he said that several procedures have managed to keep his face thin and firm, as well as his lower eyelids look less puffy.

Gretchen Barretto

She confirmed to Pep back in 2009 that she had her lips done, explaining that she wanted to have more pouty lips. "They say it's sexy, 'di ba when you have pouty lips? That's why I pout a lot," she said.

Kitkat

The comedienne stated in 2006 that she had her nose and boobs done. "Kung makaka-improve ba ito ng personality ko at makakadagdag ng confidence ko, bakit ako tatanggi, 'di ba?"
