She's considered one of the most popular purveyors of "hugot" songs in the local music scene today.
And it seems MTV Europe has taken notice, nominating Moira dela Torre in its Best Southeast Asian Act category.
The nominations were revealed Tuesday and it includes the Kapamilya singer with artists such as Indonesia's Rich Brian and Malaysia's Yuna. The others are Singapore Jasmine Sokko, Thailand's Jannine Weigel, and Vietnam's Suboi.
Reacting to the news, Dela Torre wrote on Twitter: "NO WAYYY THANK YOU SO MUCH."
The results of the online-based poll will be revealed November 3 in an awards ceremony in Spain. Fans can cast their votes here.
Previous winners of the award are Sarah Geronimo and James Reid.
The nomination comes a month after Dela Torre held a successful concert at Araneta Coliseum. She also just released a new single, "Paalam," which will be part of her upcoming album.
