MANILA - Looks can indeed be deceiving.
This is the lesson singer Randy Santiago learned the hard way after he failed to choose the real singer among the contestants on Saturday's episode of "I Can See Your Voice."
Santiago was tasked to choose the real singer among six contestants.
In the final round, Santiago opted to pick Szai Apostol, who claimed to be a singer and had joined singing contests in the past. She even have videos of her performances.
Szai was eventually given a chance to sing with Santiago, who discovered that he didn't pick the right contestant.
Santiago chose Szai over Ton-Ton Leonando, a construction worker and a part-time meat and vegetable vendor.
Based on a Korean show of the same title, "I Can See Your Voice" airs Saturdays after "Maalaala Mo Kaya" and Sundays after "Rated K."
