MANILA - "It was epic."

This was how Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda described the final gig of Kamikazee at a local bar in Makati on Monday, which his band co-headlined.

On Instagram, the 39-year-old Miranda posted photos of the event held at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, including one where he shared an emotional moment with Kamikazee's Jay Contreras.

The photo was taken by photographer Jason Pineda and was reposted on Miranda's page. It had the hashtag that read "Kamikazee Huling Sayaw."

Back in January, Kamikazee -- composed of Conteras, Jomal Linao, Led Tunay, Jason "Puto" Astete, and Allan "Bords" Bordeos -- announced that the band will be taking a hiatus starting 2016.

Last September 15, the band teased that they will be holding their farewell concert on December.
