New opportunities always accompany those who switch networks in local showbiz. Sometimes this works out way better than what that person imagined, but it can also lead to the opposite.
Luckily for Ryza Cenon, who transferred to ABS-CBN April last year, she belongs to the former.
She was handed an acting gig in the afternoon drama "Ipaglaban Mo," and she got the chance of a lifetime to be part of a hit teleserye starring the likes of Angel Locsin.
"Sobrang blessed ko," she said Thursday in a press conference held for the upcoming finale of "The General's Daughter" next week.
"Parang for me, it's the right decision na nakalipat ako dito kasi mas lumawak ’yung mundo ko, ang dami kong natutunan."
She echoed her co-star Arjo Atayde in saying that these lessons were not limited to tips in bettering her craft, but also general life ones that she is more than grateful to keep close to her heart.
Other than Atayde and Locsin, "The General's Daughter" also features Eula Valdez, Maricel Soriano, Tirso Cruz III, and Albert Martinez, to name a few. It is one of the most watched shows in the country.
Cenon also shared that she relishes playing a villain, given that it was something she had experience with from a past project of hers.
