MANILA – Jericho Rosales does not mind that he is only the second choice to play the male lead in the Metro Manila Film Festival movie “Walang Forever.”
The role was originally offered to JM De Guzman but it was reported last week that Rosales will be replacing the “All of Me” actor.

In an interview with entertainment site Push, Rosales said: "I really don't mind kung second choice or third choice ako. As long as the project is fit para sakin and I know that I can do a good job in playing a role.”
Rosales, however, said he is also clueless about the casting changes but he presumed that it’s probably due to practical reasons.
"I know that JM is very busy with his soap. Ako rin ganon ang buhay ko kapag may soap ako. Hindi ako nakakatanggap ng pelikula kasi mahirap talaga,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rosales said he already met Jennylyn Mercado and that he is looking forward to working with her.
"I watched her film ‘English Only Please.’ She was so cute in the movie so sabi ko 'Wow, perfect!'" he said, referring to Mercado’s hit movie which competed in last year's MMFF.
Since he is known for doing dramatic projects, Rosales said a romantic-comedy role is a welcome change for him.
“Medyo light lang while having fun. Super happy ako sa project na binigay sa akin. Hopefully maganda 'yung kalabasan. But it's for MMFF so maganda naman 'yan," he said.
Asked if there’s anything in particular which made him accept the role, Rosales said: "Hindi ba uso ngayon 'yang walang forever? Sikat na sikat ngayon ang hashtag na 'yan. So, sabi ko papatulan ko nga itong walang forever na ito tignan natin kung walang forever.”
