MANILA -- Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria and the drama series "Bridges of Love" are among the nominees in the 2016 International Emmy Awards.
The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the nominees Monday.
Sta. Maria is one of the nominees for Best Actress for her performance as Amor Powers in the drama series "Pangako Sa 'Yo."
She will be competing against the U.K.'s Judi Dench ("Roald Dahl's Esio Trot"), Brazil's Grazi Massafera ("Verdades Secretas") and Germany's Christiane Paul ("Unterm Radar").
Meanwhile, "Bridges of Love," which starred Jericho Rosales, Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador, was nominated in the Telenovela category, alongside entries from Canada and Brazil.
A total of 40 nominees across 10 categories and 15 countries are included in the list.
"The International Emmy competition is the pinnacle for recognizing excellence in television around the world," Bruce L. Paisner, president and CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, said in a statement. "We congratulate the 2016 Nominees and welcome them to our global stage."
The winners will be announced on November 21 at the Hilton New York Hotel.
