Her upcoming cop movie with Coco Martin and Vic Sotto has been described mainly as an action-comedy.
This Monday, Maine Mendoza gave a glimpse of her preparations for "Jack Em Poy: The PulisCredibles," sharing a video of her working on both her ability to shoot a gun and to time a joke.
The short clip started off quite serious, with the actress, wearing a camouflage outfit, practicing how to fire a rifle. But as it can be pricey to use real bullets in doing so, she got a little creative.
The comedic reveal was that she had a guy trailing her from behind, slapping a piece of wood and an empty plastic bottle together to emulate a gunshot sound.
"Medyo badass," she wrote as the caption.
She uploaded it using the TikTok app, which enables users to create and share short singing and dancing videos set to well-known songs. Although for this particular video, Mendoza decided to ignore the app's main feature and create her own sound.
"Jack Em Poy: The PulisCredible" is one of the confirmed entries for this year's Metro Manila Film Festival. It will be the first time that all three --Martin, Sotto, and Mendoza-- will share topbilling.
