ABS-CBN's 'Wildflower' bags nomination in first Asia Contents Awards

MANILA -- ABS-CBN's drama series "Wildflower" is nominated in the first Asia Contents Awards, which will be held in Busan, South Korea on October 6.
The 2017 series starring Maja Salvador is the lone Philippine nominee for Best Asian Drama and is set to compete with shows from South Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
The first Asia Contents Awards aims to reward the finest TV dramas produced across Asia in the last five years.
It is organized by the renowned Busan International Film Festival and Asian Film Market, an annual film market in South Korea.

"Wildflower" continues to make waves worldwide as it airs in New Caledonia, Polynesia, and Reunion with the recent partnership of ABS-CBN with Ampersand fiction, a French content distributor.
It is also currently shown in several French-speaking African countries and will soon air in Madagascar this October with the Kapamilya network's deal with Startimes.
