MANILA - A cast member of ABS-CBN's hit show "Be Careful With My Heart" was stuck in his car for 11 hours in Cainta, Rizal Friday due to heavy floods brought by Tropical Storm "Mario."
Actor Marlo Mortel, who plays the role of "Nicolo, said he had been driving since 3 a.m. after wrapping up taping of the show.
"Hindi ako makatawid kasi baha. Nandito ako since 3 a.m.," he told ANC.
He said he has been in contact with his father and the staff of "Be Careful."
He also posted a Vine video in his Instagram account. He said: "More than 10 hours na po ako dito tapos lalong lumalakas ang ulan."
A separate Instagram photo later showed Mortel smiling after he finally ended up at a friend's house. He said he had to leave his car because of the traffic.
"Finally after 11 hours in the car! Thank you @superjanella and tita @j9desire for coordinating with your friend @iamsupermariii to pick me up and bring me here at their place just a block away! To everyone who tried to help thank you very much! I am now safe. But my car is still there where I left it!"
"Be Careful With My Heart" is a Philippine daytime television drama that has been running for over two years on ABS-CBN. It premiered on ABS-CBN's daytime slot on July 9, 2012.
