MANILA — Is Kris Aquino looking for dating prospects?

That appeared to be the case when the actress-host posted Tuesday an invitation to single men, aged 41 to 55, to add her newly created personal Facebook account.

“I only have eight friends so far,” Aquino, 48, wrote on Instagram. “Anybody there na gustong i-friend ako privately?”

Aquino detailed her criteria for potential male friends. “Single,” she said, includes those who are widowed, divorced, legally separated, or annulled.

“And if you’re a doctor (especially a rheumatoid, immunology, allergy specialist, neurologist, anesthesiologist, pain management specialist, or cardiologist) promise accept agad ang friend request,” she added.

Aquino, who revealed this year that she is battling a “form of lupus,” has been single since 2012, when her marriage with basketball player James Yap was annulled.

The former couple has one child, Bimby.

Aquino has another son, Josh, from her past relationship with actor Phillip Salvador.

In her Instagram post on Wednesday, Aquino said both her sons prefer “a pilot who has an international route” as a potential new friend for her.

Aquino didn’t say what motivated her to specifically seek male connections on Facebook, although she credited comedian Empoy for “inspiring me to spread kindness, generosity, and love,” in her caption of a video of his guesting in her online show.
