She said she will not be attending the first-ever ABS-CBN Ball.
But "Ate Girl" Jackque may have to free up her schedule on September 29 after Vice Ganda, on live television, personally invited her to be his date for the event.
On Wednesday's "It's Showtime," the comedian complimented her on her pink outfit before segueing into asking her: "Wala akong kasabay sa ABS-CBN Ball . . . What if I ask you now, can you go with me?"
Jackque did not hesitate to say yes, although she was still admittedly unsure whether she could go.
The humorous nature of their exchange also left questions over whether they're being serious or not, with Vice Ganda quipping that he'll just meet her there. "Mauna ka na," he told her.
Walking the red carpet of the event together would be the latest twist in their "ViceJack" love team, which grew in popularity thanks to their oftentimes "kilig"-filled impromptu banter on "It's Showtime."
Jackque has said that their tandem has "changed her life," revealing that she has received nonstop offers for guesting stints in events thanks to it. She also became an endorser, with a billboard of her own with her mother.
