Former child wonder earns Master's degree

MANILA - Serena Dalrymple is now a master's degree holder.

The former child wonder, who rose to fame in 1997 for her "Isa Pang Chickenjoy" TV ad, recently graduated with a master's degree at the Hult International Business School in London.

Dalrymple took to her Instagram account to share the news, documenting her last day in the country: "Thanks friends and classmates, it's been a good "yearcation"! :P #BackToReality #VacationIsOver #iNeedAJob"

The De La Salle graduate, who is currently in California, also posted a photo of her graduation hat over a backdrop of a scenic beach, with the caption: "Master of International Business. #Hult2014"

In an interview with ABS-CBNnews.com late last year, Dalrymple said she took up postgraduate studies to "figure things out."

The then 23-year-old, despite taking up a business course, also revealed her penchant for the art of photography. She has a dedicated website where she posts her latest additions to her portfolio.

"I don't really have a dream subject. I prefer landscape photography so I guess my dream is to see the Northern Lights in Iceland," she said.
