MANILA - "The Voice of the Philippines" is back.
The highly anticipated second season of the talent search kicked off its Blind Auditions on Sunday, with the four original coaches -- apl.de.ap, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Lea Salonga -- taking their respective red chairs anew.
In a series of posts on social media, "The Voice of the Philippines" shared behind-the-scenes photos of its first shooting day, including the first look at the new Blind Auditions set.
"The Voice Kids" co-hosts Luis Manzano and Alex Gonzaga are returning this season. This time, Manzano will team up with Toni Gonzaga, the original host of "The Voice of the Philippines," as the main hosts. Alex, meanwhile, will be paired again with Robi Domingo as the "V Reporters."
In last year's top-rating debut season, Draybers vocalist Mitoy Yonting clinched the title, making Salonga the first winning coach of "The Voice" in the Philippines.
In the first edition of "The Voice Kids" in the country, which concluded in July, 9-year-old Lyca Gairanod of Team Sarah was named winner.
