Jazz artists George Benson and Al Jarreau in Manila for one-night concert

American jazz musicians Al Jarreau and  George Benson are now in Manila for a one-night concert that will be held at Araneta Coliseum on Monday, September 8th.

The two arrived Sunday evening in Manila a day before their big night at the big dome.

Benson said that he is happy to be back in the country, and excited to perform for his Filipino fans and supporters.

"I love the Philippines. People are very warm. They've always been good to me, and I'm very happy to be back playing some music for them," Benson said.

Benson also promised that concert goers will have a fun time watching their performance since they are ready to put on a good show.
"This time I will be with the great master Al Jarreau and we are gonna put up a show you will not believe," he added.

Jarreau said that he is expecting a wonderful concert.

"We had a beautiful tour so far and I expect it to be more even now," he said.

Jarreau is a five-time Grammy Award winner and the only vocalist in history to win in three separate categories: jazz, pop, and R&B.
He is the man behind  the hits "We're in This Love Together, "Moonlighting" and "So Good."

Benson started his career at the age of twenty one as a jazz guitarist. He is famous for the hits "Greatest Love of All", "Give Me the Night,""Lady Love Me (One More Time)," "Turn Your Love Around,""Inside Love(So Personal)," "In Your Eyes," and "This Masquerade."

In 2006 Benson toured with Al Jarreau in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand to promote their 2006 album titled "Givin' It Up."
