MANILA - ABS-CBN again swept the list of the 10 most watched television programs in the Philippines, making it three months in a row for the Kapamilya network.

The Lopez-led company maintained its leadership in nationwide television viewership in August with an average audience share of 45 percent, which is 10 percentage points higher than GMA's 35 percent.
This is according to data from Kantar Media, which uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes to represent 100 percent of the country's TV viewing population.
Leading the way for ABS-CBN was the recently concluded "The Voice Kids" with an average rating of 41.6 percent for the month, followed by the weekday primetime series "Nathaniel" with 34.4 percent.
A couple of weekend offerings --"Wansapanatym" and "Maalala Mo Kaya"-- ranked third and fourth respectively," while "Pangako Sa 'Yo," which stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla," rounded up August's top five.
