A fan of “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” the Hong Kong-set blockbuster starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, appears to have made it her mission to find the rooftop spot where a memorable moment between the lead characters was filmed.
Going by her now-viral photos on Facebook, the fan, Fritz Pineda, accomplished just that.
On Sunday, Pineda shared photos of her at the precise place in Hong Kong where Ethan (Richards) brought Joy (Bernardo) for a surprise, and where the sweethearts talked about their aspirations.
“When ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ hits you hard,” Pineda captioned the post, which already had over 22,000 reactions and 28,000 shares, as of writing.
The rooftop location was one of 10 scouted by the film crew in Hong Kong, “just to get this picturesque and suitable scene,” according to John Leo Garcia of Star Cinema in a July 5 Instagram post.
Sharing a screenshot from the trailer at the time, Garcia wrote: “As you can see, every setep and floor is worth it.”
“Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which marks the first team-up of Bernardo and Richards, recently crossed the P600-million mark in domestic earnings.
With international screenings in full swing, “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is poised for a leap in box-office tally that’s expected to rival Bernardo’s previous record-breaker, “The Hows of Us.”
