MANILA—Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards on Saturday flew to Singapore to attend the special screening of their movie, "Hello, Love, Goodbye."
The two were supposed to attend the special screenings in Hong Kong this month, but their appearance was cancelled because of disruptive protests there.
Star Cinema on Saturday posted photos of Bernardo and Richards at the airport on their way to Singapore.
In an interview, Bernardo said she and Richards fixed their schedule so they can personally thank their fans in Singapore.
"Mayroon din kasing mga trabaho dito, so inayos lang talaga 'yung schedule to personally say thank you, na kami talaga 'yung nandoon," she said.
“Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which marks the first team-up of Bernardo and Richards, recently crossed the P600-million mark in domestic earnings.
With international screenings in full swing — the lead stars were just in Dubai for the premiere there — “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is poised for a leap in box-office tally that’s expected to rival Bernardo’s previous record-breaker, “The Hows of Us.”
