“The General’s Daughter,” Angel Locsin’s teleserye comeback, has tapped a popular love team to join its already star-studded cast.
On Twitter Monday, actress Loisa Andalio shared a photo of her and onscreen partner Ronnie Alonte, with the previously announced cast members of “The General’s Daughter.”
“Soon . . . Thank you Lord God!” Andalio wrote.
Also seen in the photo are Locsin, Albert Martinez, JC de Vera, Ryza Cenon, Cholo Barretto, Eula Valdez and director Emmanuel Palo.
Andalio and Alonte, rumored sweethearts in real life, were last seen together in the “Wansapanataym” miniseries “Gelli in a Bottle.” Their upcoming roles in “The General’s Daughter” will only be the second time they’re being paired on television.
On the big screen, they are set to join comedian Vice Ganda in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Fantastica,” due in theaters Christmas Day.
“The General’s Daughter,”produced by Dreamscape Entertainment Television, is expected to be an action-packed entry to Locsin’s filmography, going by updates from the actress showing her training for the series.
