MANILA, Philippines – Hollywood star and hotel heiress Paris Hilton is now in Manila. She arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport via flight ER 334 before midnight Monday.

Her excitement, however, was marred after she lost her 2 mobile phones before landing in Manila. Airport authorities are already looking into the incident.

Hilton will be staying in the country for 5 days for business and a vacation. She is set to open a luxury store in SM Megamall and will help design a real estate property in Parañaque.

Paris was warmly welcomed by her Filipino fans who trooped to the airport Sunday night to get a glimpse of their idol.

Before her arrival, Hilton tweeted a link which revealed that she is onboard an Emirate Airways flight EK334.

“Mabuhay Philippines! Mahal ko kayo! On the plane about to take off to you! See you all soon! :),” she posted.

She also said she is also excited to meet her Filipino fans.

“So excited to go to the #Philippines, can't wait to meet you all! Love you,” she tweeted.

ABS-CBN earlier reported that Hilton will open the "Paris Hilton Beach Club" in Manila.

Just last May, the first branch of "Paris Hilton Handbags and Accessories" opened at Abreeza Mall in Davao City.

Rumors are also swirling that the socialite will meet with President Benigno Aquino III.

In an interview with dzRB, Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte said: "Sa amin pong pagkakaalam, wala po. Wala pong naibibigay na advice sa amin. However, we are coordinating with the President’s private office kung sakali pong mayroon talagang courtesy call."
