MANILA - "Hello, Love, Goodbye" earned another P80 million over the past three days to bring its box office cume to P400 million, its producer Star Cinema announced Saturday.
That makes the OFW drama, starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards on their first-time pairing, the most successful movie from the ABS-CBN production outfit so far for 2019.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, it followed the love story of Joy (Bernardo), a domestic helper, and Ethan (Richards), a bartender, as they grapple with challenges faced by OFWs in Hong Kong.
The movie received plenty of positive reviews from both fans and critics since its debut last July 31.
According to Richards, an actor usually associated with a rival network, he'd be willing to do a sequel.
Referring to his and Bernardo's characters, he said: "Biased ako kasi sobra akong na-in love sa pelikula... Siguro doon sa pelikula naman ay naging masaya naman sila sa choices nila pero mas gusto ko silang mas masaya pa."
