MANILA, Philippines – “Pilipinas, Win na Win!,” ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon game and variety show, has its first millionaire.
Contestant Von Belinario from Bulacan on Tuesday won the P1-million jackpot prize while playing in one of the show's segment called “Open Susi-Me.”
The winner said he will donate part of his cash prize to his church.
Sobrang saya," Belinario said.
Robin Padilla, “Pilipinas Win na Win’s!” host, was equally happy.
Ambassador of Goodwill
Aside from hosting, meanwhile, Padilla was appointed housing "Ambassador of Goodwill" by Vice President Jejomar Binay only recently.
According to the vice president, Padilla’s primary task is to help the government promote its housing program, especially in Mindanao.
Isang paraan para magkaroon ng good relations ‘yong muslim communities with the non-muslims," Binay said.
Padilla is also encouraging all overseas Filipino workers to become Pag-Ibig Fund members, said Binay.
Padilla, meantime, shied away from his new title.
Padilla was one of Binay’s celebrity endorsers in May 2010 elections. -SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon
