She's had to deal with the heartbreak of miscarriage -- not an easy thing as it is not just about losing a baby, but an imagined future. As Heart Evangelista put it when she shared the tragic news, just the thought of her twins taught her "what unconditional love feels like."
Fortunately, the actress did not have to go through this tough period in her life alone. And she made sure to let everyone know how important her husband, Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero, was (and continues to be) in helping her cope with their loss.
They celebrated six years together and she took it as an opportunity to thank her partner in life.
"From the little things like making me laugh to the bigger things like helping me through difficult times, you have never failed to be my person," she wrote as the caption to a photo of them on Instagram.
"Six years ago today we embarked on this journey together and I thank God for it everyday. Happy anniversary, my love!"
It was back in June when Evangelista said that she had miscarried both her twins. This was just a month after she shared that she is pregnant with what would have been their first children.
Evangelista and Escudero tied the knot in 2015.
