MANILA -- A young artist from Bulacan sang her way to the next round of the competition on Saturday's episode of the second season of "The Voice Kids."
Eleven-year-old Jhyleanne Rington, who sang a song from "Les Miserables" in the Blind Auditions, once again earned the approval of her coach, Lea Salonga, as she bested two other young artists, Kyla Jose and Mary Anne Ramos.
The trio performed "For the First Time in Forever" from the hit animated movie, "Frozen."
Bamboo Mañalac praised the girls for their consistent performance, choosing Rington as the best in the group.
Sarah Geronimo, on the other hand, opted for Jose.
Salonga opted for Rington, who she said has a lot of potential.
"Kasi iba-iba 'yung naging challenges niyo sa kantang ito...and the reason this person is getting through... for this moment, this artist has a lot of potential," Salonga said.
Rington, along with Jonalyn Pepito and Luke Alford will represent "FamiLEA" in the Sing-Offs.
Each team will have six members by the end of the Battle Rounds.
"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo and Yeng Constantino, airs Saturdays at 6:45 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
