Superstar, Nora Aunor, is welcomed by supporters upon her arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila early Tuesday morning.

MANILA, Philippines – The country's '"Superstar" Nora Aunor is back. 

Aunor arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport early Tuesday via Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight 103. 

"Masaya po," Aunor told ABS-CBN News upon arrival.

When asked to give a message to her fans, Aunor replied: "Alam po nila ang pakiramdam at nararamdaman ko sa isip at sa puso, mahal na mahal ko ang mga fans lalo na ngayon at di nagbago ng napakahabang panahon."

Aurnor, who was accompanied by her friend, Suzette Ranillo, was welcomed by her showbiz friend German Moreno and other members of press, including Pilar Mateo and Jobert Sucaldito.

Aunor added that she's excited about her comeback film El Presidente with Laguna Governor ER Ejercito, who was also at the airport to welcome the superstar.

"Basta excited na excited ako sa gagawin kong trabaho sa El Presidente at yung mga makita ko ang mga kapatid ko at fans," she said. 

At 12 noon on Tuesday, Aunor will be having a press conference. After meeting the entertainment media, she will then visit her siblings and children.

Last February 2010, ABS-CBN broke the news that Aunor had chosen to come home from the United States where she had been staying for the past 5 years.
