MANILA – An indie film starring Piolo Pascual and Rhian Ramos will close this year’s Cinemalaya film festival.

The trailer for their movie “Silong,” which is directed by Jeffrey Hidalgo and Roy Sevilla Ho, was released on Thursday.

It tells the story of a doctor named Miguel Cascarro (Pascual) who finds a badly beaten Valerie (Ramos) in a deserted area.

Parts of the trailer show the two stars in a kissing scene and other intimate moments.
