MANILA - The trio of Bea Roa, Princess Rabara, and Makisig Aduca were all smiles after they charmed the coaches of "The Voice Kids" with their cover of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong's "Dream A Little Dream of Me."
However, the group's night ended in a more somber note as only Rabara moved on to the next round of the singing contest, leaving the other two in tears.
"That's the best I've heard you sing this. Thank you for all the hard work," coach Bamboo Mañalac told Rabara. The rock icon also comforted the other two, praising their part in putting on perhaps the best performance from Saturday's episode.
"That was such a great number. Beautiful song choice," Manalac's fellow coach, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, gushed over their performance.
The Voice Kids," hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
