MANILA - Young actor Zaijian Jaranilla was named most valuable player in a Mobile Legends mini-tournament held in Quezon City Sunday.
Jaranilla, who is the third among top Mobile Legends players in the Philippines, also became among the top players globally.
According to Jaranilla, his interest in Mobile Legends first started because he has been playing Defense of the Ancients (DOTA), among other games.
"Last year lang po ako nag-start.
Jaranilla's team, Green Knights, was named grand champion of the competition. The other members of the team were Gillian Vicencio, Kirst Viray and Isaiah Dela Cruz.
Dubbed Celebrity Showmatch, other celebrities who participated in the mini-tournament organized by Star Magic and Tier One Entertainment were JC Alcantara, Myrtle Sarrosa, and Elha Nympha.
