MANILA - An emotional Jinri Park bid her fellow "Pinoy Big Brother" celebrity housemates farewell after being granted permission to leave the reality television show due to personal reasons.
"I have to leave. I'll just wash and pack my bags. I don't know if I'll be coming back or not. I can't really say why but yeah," Park, a South Korean model and radio host, said.
In tears, she added: "If in case I don't come back, I just want to say thank you because everyone, each one of you made me know more about myself. I really, really had a great time with everyone and it really felt like family. I'm so happy I came here and met all of you because I now have a family. I'll just pray for you always."
Park said that she joined "PBB" so that she could learn to interact more with her peers. As a self-admitted introvert living away from her parents, being able to open up to others is a personal goal for her.
The show did not reveal Park's reason for leaving. It did tease, however, that she may return in the near future, although nothing is guaranteed.
"This is not a voluntary exit. I am giving you permission to go. And we will see if you can go back," Kuya told Park.
