Robin Padilla has now become a grandfather.
This after his eldest daughter, Queenie, gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Tuesday.
Sharing the happy news on Instagram on Thursday, Queenie, Padilla's daughter with his ex-wife Liezl Sicangco, wrote: "I wanted a boy but when you came into the world I realized how wrong I was."
"I wouldn't want anything in the world but you, my princess, my everything, my life. I love you so much... You make me happy cry every day. It pains me to hear you cry, it gives me joy to see you smile. Alhamdullillah. Thank you, Allah."
Queenie added that she and her husband, Pakistani national Usama Mir, have picked the name Manir-Taza for their child.
She also said that she has decided to refrain from posting a photo showing the face of her baby due to privacy reasons.
Manir-Taza is Padilla's first grandchild. He is expecting another this year after Kylie Padilla also announced her pregnancy.
Queenie first confirmed her marriage with her non-showbiz partner in 2012, a year after she left the local showbiz industry, citing her religion.
She said she found inner peace and direction in life in Islam.
