MANILA – “The Voice Kids” continued its record-breaking streak as it bested its rival shows again for the seventh consecutive week.
Over the weekend, the ABS-CBN program breached 40% in nationwide ratings, according to a Kantar Media panel size that represents 100% of the Philippine TV viewing population.
On Instagram, "The Voice Kids" announced that it registered a national TV rating of 45.1% on July 25 and 46.3% on the following day.
Its July 26 rating beat its previous all-time high of 45.1% set last July 19, which was the show’s final Blind Auditions episode.
This weekend, “The Voice Kids” started the Battle Rounds which already saw seven artists advancing to the Sing Offs.
They are Jonalyn Pepito and Luke Alford from Team Lea; Benedict Inciong, Martina Ortiz-Luis and Elha Nympha from Team Bamboo; and Francis Lim and Kristel Belo from Team Sarah.
The show features young aspiring singers who will be coached by multi-awarded singers Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, and Bamboo.
It is hosted by Robi Domingo, Luis Manzano, and Yeng Constantino.
