MANILA - "Bridges of Love" star Maja Salvador said she is looking forward to having some "me time" as she moves on from her failed relationship with actor Gerald Anderson.

"Kailangan kong bumawi sa sarili ko," Salvador told members of entertainment media on Thursday during the thanksgiving party of "Bridges of Love," which is now down to its last three weeks.

"Ang dami ko pang gustong gawin din at parang wala akong time for love," she added.

Salvador admitted she felt crushed by her failed relationship with Anderson.

Nadurog naman kasi ako doon," she said.

When asked if there is already someone who is helping her fix her broken heart, the actress said: "Ako po mismo. Kailangan sarili mo ang magbuo sa'yo."

Salvador went on to address rumors linking her to Paulo Avelino, one of her leading men in "Bridges of Love."

She stressed that she and the actor are just friends.

"Friendship muna tayo, sabi nga sa kanta ko, dahan-dahan lang," she said, referring to one of her hit singles. Dito kasi no choice kami, kami ang laging magka-eksena."

"So 'yun, parang nagkasundo. "So 'yun, masaya kami.

Avelino, who was also present at the "Bridges of Love" press conference, for his part said he is not seeing someone and wants to concentrate on his career.
