MANILA -- Despite receiving negative comments from some online bashers, Isabela Vinzon gave her everything in the semi-finals of "The Voice Teens," earning the coveted spot in next week's grand finals.
On Sunday's live episode of the popular contest, Vinzon received a total of 96.5 percent of viewers and judges' votes for her performance of Lady Gaga's "You and I," which she dedicated to her father, action star and film director Roi Vinzon.
Aside from showing off her singing talent, Vinzon also played the piano during her performance.
"That was the Lala Show. You owned that moment, you owned this stage tonight," Bamboo told Vinzon.
Vinzon beat Emarjhun de Guzman, who received 77.46 percent of votes for his performance of Mariah Carey's "Butterfly."
Next week, Vinzon will be going against Mica Becerro, Jona Soquite and Jeremy Glinoga in the competition's grand finals.
