MANILA – Following her much talked-about guesting on “Wowowee,” Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao, is going back to the popular noontime show, this time as its guest host.

Mommy Dionisia, as she is fondly called, told ABS-CBN's morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" Thursday that she said “yes” to host Willie Revillame’s invitation to be his special guest co-host on July 25.

"Parang guest din ako at baka [pasayawin] nila ako. Kung gusto nilang makitang mag-dance ako walang problema. Sanay naman ako dahil kada-Friday ay nagda-dance ako sa General Santos,” she said.

On Monday she made a special appearance on “Wowowee.”  She revealed that it was a dream come true for her to see Revillame in person.

“[Masaya ako na] Nayakap ko na siya. Wow,” she said.

Aside from guesting on “Wowowee,” Mommy Dionisia also accepted the offer for her to make a special appearance in former president Joseph Estrada and Ai-Ai delas Alas' upcoming film under Star Cinema.

Reports said she will be playing the mother of hunk actor Sam Milby.  She said it will only take four days to shoot her scenes.

"Sabi ko okay lang. Huwag lang sa July 28 dahil maggi-guest ako sa sitcom ni Manny. Si Sam daw po ang anak ko," she said.

The Filipino boxing icon’s mother also disclosed her favorite male actors. Hunk actors Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales, who once portrayed her son in biopic "Buhay Kamao," are on the top of her list.

But Mommy Dionisia picked Pascual to become her on-screen partner.

Boxing or politics?

Meanwhile, Mommy Dionisia is certain that she wants her son to retire.

"Gusto ko after nitong laban niya, si [Puerto Rican Miguel] Cotto ang kalaban niya. Kung manalo siya ngayon, gusto ko mag-stop na siya, huminto na," she said.

She shared that her son wants to continue his boxing career because of his desire to help underprivileged Filipinos.

Asked if she would want her son to run in next year's elections, she replied: "Siyempre kagustuhan niya ito, katulad ng boxing kagustuhan niya iyon... sabi niya magbo-boxing na siya. Gusto lang niyang makatulong sa lahat ng tao... Kagustuhan niya ito. Susuporta na lang ako sa anak ko."

For her parting shot, a very busy Mommy Dionisia, now a product endorser, said she hopes that she is not shooting any commercial on November 14 so that she can watch the Pacquiao-Cotto showdown.
