She ditched her elegant look while she worked on her first action flick, "BuyBust," promotional photos for which showed her bloodied and bruised as she fights off burly drug gang thugs.
But Anne Curtis, these past few days, was back to her glamorous best as she graced red carpets for the premiere of her movie in New York and South Korea, as well as for a photoshoot for a magazine in Vietnam.
The "It's Showtime" host looked stunningly fierce --minus the blood and cuts-- on the cover of the seventh anniversary issue of Harper's Bazaar Vietnam, released this Saturday.
She wore a floral dress designed by Cory Couture, with makeup and stylings from Robbie Pinera and Raymond Santiago, as she joined global talents such as British singer Jessie J and K-pop star Tiffany Young for the international magazine's campaign.
Curtis' cover was shot by Mark Nicdao.
"BuyBust," about police officers trapped inside a hellish slum area in Manila following a failed operation to arrest a drug lord, is scheduled to premiere in local theaters this August 1.
It is directed by Erik Matti and has been dubbed as a "must-see" for fans of the action genre by movie critics in New York.
