MANILA – “I felt so safe. I’m back in the arms of my sister.”
This was how Claudine Barretto described her reunion with her elder sister, former actress Marjorie Barretto, during her private birthday dinner with her family on Monday.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, Claudine said she feels overjoyed now that she and Marjorie have moved past their years-long rift.
“Up to now, parang ang surreal. Parang hindi ko ma-imagine. Hanggang ngayon ang nararamdaman ko happiness pa rin kasi nakita ko talaga yung saya sa mga mata ng mga magulang ko na magkakasama kami ulit. Priceless iyon,” she said.
On Monday, Marjorie took to Instagram so express how happy she is now that things are already back to normal for her and Claudine.
Sharing a picture of her and Claudine hugging each other, Marjorie wrote in the caption: “They say time heals all wounds... But for the deeper and more painful wounds, I know only God in all his mighty power can heal my heart and Claudine's. I realized last night, that God is greater and bigger than all the pride and unforgiveness we both had for each other.”
She then wished her youngest sister a year filled with blessings not just in life but also in her career.
For the full interview, watch out for MJ Felipe’s report on “Bandila” on Tuesday night.
