MANILA — The continuation of Tine and Sarawat's love story is coming sooner than expected.
"Still 2gether," the sequel to the hit boys' love (BL) series from Thailand, will be simulcast in the Philippines via iWant starting August, local partner Dreamscape Entertainment has announced.
"2gether," the original series that ushered in a wave of BL productions in the Philippines, followed the blooming romance between Tine (Win Metawin) and Sarawat (Bright Vachirawit), school mates whose pretend relationship turns real.
The full series, dubbed in Filipino, is free to stream on iWant.
The popularity of "2gether" in the Philippines courted a loyal fanbase for lead actors Bright and Win, who, in June, even held a virtual media conference especially for local press and supporters.
Aside from "Still 2gether," another GMMTV production, "I'm Tee, Me Too," will also be simulcast on iWant in September.
"I'm Tee, Me Too" brings together several Thai BL stars, in a story about housemates who happen to share the same name, and friendships (and romance) that grow among them.
