MANILA -- When Cherry Pie Picache returns to work --whenever that may be as productions are still struggling to restart-- what will she see in a "new normal" workplace? Though given what happened with ABS-CBN, the right question seems, who will she not see?
This was what the actress mulled over as she lamented the decision of lawmakers against the renewal of ABS-CBN franchise, ensuring that the network stays off the air for good and causing mass layoffs.
"Durog na durog mga puso namin," Picache wrote as the caption to a photo of a plain black square on Instagram she posted Saturday. "I don't have any words to describe it --maga ang mga mata."
Picache, who recently starred in "Sandugo," an afternoon soap which ended back in March, sympathized with the many employees who will be losing their work as the network is forced to retrench.
Maraming maraming salamat Kapamilya!!!! Hanggang sa muli!!! Kapamilya forever!!!"
