MANILA - Like many people, you're probably wondering what "pabebe" means or why Vice Ganda decided to make a song out of it.

During "It's Showtime" on Friday, the comedian performed his latest single, "Huwag Kang Pabebe," which urges the youth to be more productive and spend less time being idle.

He also tried to explain the concept, popularized by two girls from Bulacan who dubbed themselves as the "Pabebe Warriors."

"Maraming ibig sabihin ang 'pabebe.' Pa-sweet, pa-cute, paalaga, papampam, mahilig sa mamon," Vice Ganda said.

Asked whether he acts like one around "ang taong mahal mo," he replied: "Lahat naman ata tayo at some point nagpa-'pabebe."
